Aint it amazing

Do you think the legislature will get a grip on reality? Restrict their freedom just a little and they do the jobs the said they were going to do. Politicians in Chains has a nice ring to it. They want the power they get the pain that goes with it. A Per Dium like Sherriff Joe in Maricopa county is giving sounds like a good deal. Maybe on good behavior then can get released in 4 years, unless they get reelected!
Like the rest of us working stiffs the basis of their paycheck is on production. If they can't get the job done dont let the door hit ya where nature split ya. Four years and then we get to decide if someone else is going to do a better job. FUCK THAT RECALL THE INCOMPETENTS! I think if you are unhappy with the performance of your legislature remove him from office. It happened to Gray and we got Arnie, Maybe it could happen to Dave Cox and could be replaced with one of the Greenethornes. Could you imagine bringing integrity to the legislature with a twang of smart ass?

Mr President I move that we give the Honorable representative from San Bernadino a BOOT TO THE HEAD.
I know there are more then one of us willing to step up.

PS I just heard the guy on the news say that there is a very festive mood at the capitol. Why? because they did their fucking job over three months late? Should I be impressed?

Just for giggles I looked into the way to do this:+
The number of signatures needed on the petition to recall State
Senators, Members of the Assembly, Members of the Board of
Equalization and Judges of Courts of Appeal, must equal at least
twenty percent (20%) of the last vote for the office.
(Cal.Const., Art. II, Sec. 14(b); §11221)

Dave Cox Got 267,426 Votes 20%=53,486
total votes in that election was 429470 and 20% is 85,894

You know, there are a lot of things I miss about California. The political and economic situation are not among them. :(

What's the filing fee? I was asked to run for a seat by the Green Party in the 90s but being massively broke at the time prevented me from giving it serious consideration.
