I clicked on the link and it asked me the usual battery of questions that were included on the resume but then they asked me for my SSN Drivers license number and DOB. Then on the next page they said that since they did direct deposit they needed my bank information. Ottar may be a touch slow but he aint that dumb my scam alert sensors having become well honed in a year of unemployment were triggered into a deafening crescendo. I went back a page and deleted what I had put in there and hope it is good enough. Then I sent her the following reply...

You know what is amazing? That you think someone who is savvy enough to use the internet will fall for a scam like this that asks for a SSN and banking information online. Of course the 1% that fall for it probably pay your ill gotten gains. I am forwarding this email to local law enforcement and hope that something is done so I can sit across from you in court while I testify against you. PS I checked with Sprint they do not have a Peggy Dills working for them in any capacity in their company.

I can't believe I also fell for it, but I have applied with Sprint before and I guess I was over-eager.

Ottar and others, this is the second anonymous again. I just filed a report with the Roseville PD, issued a Fraud Alert with the 3 major Creit Reporting Agencies, and have a message into my bank for first thing in the a.m.....I feel so stupid, I am usually not this gullible. In any case, if I am missing something, please let me know.

I thought it was a legitimate job request. I went onto the Sprint Career website. I saw that they had a position for a care specialist for the Rancho site. So I replied by email to the job request. Then it got fishy, I got an email at 11:58pm sayin the same thing, except start date was 9/14. I told my husband, that it didnt sound right, that without meeting me, they already hired me. So I gave the email the benefit of the doubt, clicked on the link and this is what shows now.... "This form has been deactivated and is closed for any further submissions." I knew the moment I clicked on the site, it was not Sprints Website, considering, I have already applied for a position at Sprint, and this was not thier site. Another note, Sprint is NOT powered by "FormSpring" it is powered by Kenexa. Then I googled Peggy Dills for Sprint, and I came across this blog, and thank you for posting, and as well I spoke with a gal at sprint, whom I have service with, she as well says thier is no such person.

Scammers will offer me a job but legit companies wont hire me. I have too much experience I guess. Verizon just gave me the thanks but no thanks. I guess it is a Scotch and Beer night.
